Status Tracker ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). By using our App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

• Your USCIS receipt numbers, entered manually by you.
• Your EOIR case numbers (for immigration court tracking).
• Optional notes and timeline events that you add locally on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To allow you to track USCIS and EOIR immigration cases in one place.
• To store and sync your case numbers securely using Google Firestore.
• To send you push notifications when there are updates on your cases.
• To display your personal timeline of case milestones (stored locally on your device).
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party.

3. Data Storage and Security

Case numbers are stored securely in Firestore with encryption and restricted access. Timeline events are stored locally on your device. Data is retrieved from official government websites (USCIS/EOIR) over secure HTTPS connections. You may delete your case data at any time from within the App.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses Google Firestore for secure storage and Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics tools. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by USCIS or EOIR.

AI Summary Feature

The App provides an optional AI Summary feature. This feature may send only the public case status text and related dates (e.g., "Case Was Received" or "Interview Scheduled") to a trusted third-party AI service for the limited purpose of generating a short summary or translation in your selected language.

No user-provided data such as receipt numbers, A-Numbers, names, notes, or personal identifiers are shared with the AI service. Summaries are for translation and clarification only and do not constitute legal advice.

5. User Rights

• Delete your stored case data at any time.
• Export and save your timeline for personal use.
• Manage or cancel your subscription through your device’s App Store settings.

6. Subscriptions

The App offers optional subscriptions through In-App Purchases. Subscription management, billing, and cancellations are handled securely through Apple’s App Store.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not age-restricted, but it is intended for individuals managing immigration cases in the United States.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the “Effective Date” above.

9. Accountability

This application is operated by Mostafa Abushammala, Sole Proprietor in Illinois.
