Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: September 24, 2025
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Status Tracker mobile application ("App"). By using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Purpose of the App
Status Tracker allows users to track the status of immigration cases using official sources such as the USCIS Case Status API and the EOIR Automated Case Information System. We are not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by USCIS or EOIR.
2. Use of the App
- Use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the case numbers you enter.
- Do not use the App for fraudulent or unauthorized purposes.
3. Data and Privacy
Case numbers are stored securely in Firestore. Timeline events are stored locally on your device. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. For details, please review our Privacy Policy.
4. Subscriptions
The App offers premium features through subscriptions available via In-App Purchase. Payment, renewals, and cancellations are managed through the App Store under your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period.
5. Multilingual Support
The App currently supports English and Spanish. Content and translations are provided for convenience, but the official government sources remain authoritative.
6. Disclaimer
Case information is retrieved directly from the official USCIS and EOIR systems. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided. The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
AI Summary Feature
The App may provide an optional AI-powered summary of case updates. This feature uses only the general case status text and related dates (for example: "Case Was Approved" or "Interview Scheduled") to generate a simplified summary or translation in the user’s preferred language.
No receipt numbers, A-Numbers, names, notes, or personal identifiers are shared with the AI service. Summaries are provided solely for translation and clarification purposes. They do not constitute legal advice or replace official government communications.
7. Limitation of Liability
- Errors, delays, or inaccuracies in retrieving case information.
- Actions taken based on the information provided.
- Technical issues, subscription interruptions, or data loss.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to the App at any time without notice for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which you reside.
10. Accountability
This application is operated by Mostafa Abushammala, Sole Proprietor in Illinois.
11. Official Government Communication
This App does not replace official communication channels with USCIS or EOIR. For official information, visit: www.uscis.gov · acis.eoir.justice.gov
