Delete your account & data
Case Tracker & Civics Test is a product by Shammala LLC, an Illinois-registered software company. This page explains how you can request deletion of your account and associated data.
When you request deletion, your personal data is removed immediately from our active databases, and your account is scheduled for final removal within 14 days.
Delete from iOS app
To delete your account and associated data from an iPhone or iPad:
- 1. Open Case Tracker & Civics Test.
- 2. Go to Settings.
- 3. Tap Account.
- 4. Tap Delete account & all data.
- 5. Read the confirmation message and tap Confirm.
Once confirmed, the app sends a secure deletion request to our servers. Your case data and account data are deleted immediately from active storage, and your account is placed into a 14-day pending removal state.
Delete from Android app
On Android, you can also request account deletion directly from the app:
- 1. Open Case Tracker & Civics Test.
- 2. Go to Settings.
- 3. Tap Account.
- 4. Tap Delete account & all data.
- 5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
The app will call our secure deletion endpoint using your authenticated session. Your stored data is removed from active databases immediately, and your account is scheduled for final deletion within 14 days.
No longer have access?
If you no longer have access to the app or the email you used to sign in, you can request deletion by email. Please include:
- • The email address associated with your account
- • Any USCIS receipt numbers you added (optional)

For security, we may ask you to verify ownership of the account before processing the deletion.
What we delete
When you request account deletion, we delete the following data associated with your account:
- • Your account profile (name, email, language preferences)
- • All USCIS cases you added and their stored status history
- • Any civics practice or exam results linked to your account
- • Notification tokens used for push notifications
This data is removed from our active databases immediately after your request, and your account is fully and irreversibly deleted within 14 days.
What may be retained
In some cases, we may retain limited data for legal, security, or operational reasons:
- • Server logs and security records
- • Aggregated, de-identified analytics that cannot be linked back to you
- • Encrypted backups that are automatically rotated and expire after a short period
Any retained information is kept only for as long as necessary for these purposes, and is not used to identify you or reconstruct your account. Backups containing your data are overwritten according to our normal retention schedule.
